BRPD look to ID man behind pharmacy armed robbery

BATON ROUGE - Detectives are looking to identify a man accused of robbing a Baton Rouge pharmacy Wednesday evening.

Baton Rouge Police say the suspect entered the Rite Aid, located at 7570 Jefferson Hwy, at around 4:45 p.m. and demanded money from the register while armed with a firearm. He obtained an undisclosed amount of money before exiting the business, according to investigators.

Police described the suspect as being near 50 years of age, wearing a camouflage hat, a blue/green button-down shirt and khaki pants.

There were no reported injuries in connection with the armed robbery.
