WBRZ - Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE - Police said one person was shot this afternoon in the eastern portion of Baton Rouge, but is expected to survive.

Cpl. Tommy Stubbs said police responded to reports of a shooting in the 12000 block of Warfield Avenue. He said the victim did not have life-threatening injuries.

Witnesses in the area told News 2 the man was shot somewhere else and ran to the home where he collapsed.
