BRPD investigating deadly wreck
BATON ROUGE - Police said a 27-year-old Baton Rouge man died in a wreck Sunday night after investigators said he pulled out in front of another vehicle.
Cpl. Don Coppola Jr. said Timothy Lee, 27, died after the wreck in the 11900 block of Scenic Highway at 11:39 p.m. Sunday.
Coppola said Lee had stopped at the sign on Thomas Road when he pulled into the intersection for unknown reasons and was hit by another vehicle going north on Scenic Highway.
Police said everyone in both vehicles were wearing seat belts when the wreck happened.
Investigators determined speed and alcohol weren't factors in the crash, and said they were still investigating.
