BRPD identify victim of deadly motorcycle crash
BATON ROUGE - Investigators released the identity of a 20-year-old motorcyclist who was killed in a crash on Airline Hwy. early Friday morning.
Police said Eric Fabre of Slidell was riding a Honda scooter north on Airline Hwy. around 12:58 a.m. when he was hit from behind by a red or maroon vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle that hit Fabre fled the scene before authorities arrived, but it is believed they continued north on Airline Hwy.
BRPD said Fabre died at the scene of the crash.
The deadly crash is under investigation and anyone with information concerning the incident is urged to contact the Traffic Homicide Division at (225) 389-7819.
