BRPD hiring more officers, technicians

BATON ROUGE - The Baton Rouge Police Department announced plans for civil service tests next month, including tests for more police officers.

The tests are scheduled for Oct. 14 for police officers and police crime information technology specialists, and Oct. 28 for police communications officers and fingerprint technicians.

Deadlines for the tests are Sept. 2. The police officers' exam will be administered at the River Center Ballroom, while the rest will be given at the Goodwood Main Library.
