BRPD: Drunk man passed out behind the wheel
BATON ROUGE - Officers had to smash in the window of a vehicle because a drunk man passed out while behind the wheel, according to an arrest report.
Police say Samuel Shavers was found asleep with his foot on the brake of the vehicle while the car was still in drive on Plank Road. It happened around 3 p.m.
The arrest report says Shavers admitted to drinking beer all day, and officers even found a bottle of alcohol in the center console of the vehicle.
It is Shavers' fourth DWI offense.
