BRPD: Driver, passenger ejected in fatal crash
BATON ROUGE - An investigation is underway after a deadly accident in Baton Rouge Wednesday night.
According to Baton Rouge Police, Vernon Rogers, 34, was killed when the 32-year-old man he was riding with lost control of his car in the 12100 block of Hwy 19. Police say both men were ejected because neither was wearing a seat belt.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but police don't think alcohol was a factor.
