BATON ROUGE - Police arrested a suspect Tuesday in connection with a 2008 murder in Baton Rouge, according to a department spokesperson.
Cpl. Don Coppola said detectives arrested Theodis Guillory, 31, on suspicion of shooting and killing Willie Mitchell on April 25, 2008.
Investigators said DNA evidence from the crime scene positively identified Guillory as the shooter. They also said Mitchell's girlfriend witnessed the incident.
Guillory will be booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison later Tuesday on second degree murder charges.
