BRPD: Child arrested after cutting two others
BATON ROUGE - Police arrested an 11-year-old girl in Baton Rouge Monday after they said she cut her two siblings with a knife.
Sgt. Mary Ann Godawa said the girl faces charges of aggravated battery after cutting her 5-year-old and a 9-year-old siblings. She said one was cut on the torso, the other on the arm, and that neither injuries were life-threatening.
Godawa said it happened at the children's home on Monet Drive while they were being watched by a neighbor. She said the cuts may have been made with some kind of kitchen knife.
EMS took both children to the hospital.
