BRPD: Car fled scene after shooting

BATON ROUGE, La. - Baton Rouge Police are looking for an unknown vehicle that fled the scene of a shooting Saturday night on the 1600 block of E. Walker Ct., according to BRPD Capt. Dwayne Bovia.

Bovia says officers received a shots fired call around 12:25 a.m. and then received a call of a victim in the 1600 block of E. Walker Ct.

Officers located a hispanic male with gun shot wounds. The man was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive.

Bovia says an unknown vehicle was seen fleeing the scene of the shooting. Anyone with information is urged to contact Baton Rouge Police Crime Stoppers at 344-7867.
