BRPD: BR murder suspect arrested in Michigan
IRONWOOD, Mich. - Authorities in Michigan's Upper Peninsula have arrested a 19-year-old man wanted on a first-degree murder charge in Louisiana.
Michigan State police say the Upper Peninsula native was arrested Friday at a home in Ironwood Township, near the Michigan-Wisconsin border. Baton Rouge Police say his name is Mason Chiapuzio.
Chiapuzio was wanted in Baton Rouge for his connection in the shooting death of Brandon Harris on April 15, 2012 in the 1400 block of Sharlo Ave., according to Baton Rouge Police Cpl. L'jean McKneely.
Chiapuzio will be extradited back to Baton Rouge for first degree murder.
