BRPD: Beating victim dies from injuries
BATON ROUGE - Police said the victim of a recent beating in Baton Rouge died from their injuries.
BRPD said Enorris Jones, 52, died Tuesday at a local hospital.
Investigators said Jones was beaten on June 18 while in the 1000 block of North 31st Street around 9 p.m. Police said he went into a coma, and an autopsy confirmed his death was due to the injuries from the beating.
Details surrounding the attack on Jones are still under investigation, according to Baton Rouge Police. Anyone with information should call the Violent Crimes Unit at (225) 389-4869.
