BATON ROUGE - Police in Baton Rouge are asking for help identifying a man who robbed a couple at gunpoint, then was possibly spotted on camera using their card to try and get cash.

Sgt. Don Kelly said the robbery happened around 3:45 a.m. on Dec. 14 while the couple were getting out of their car in Spanishtown.  They told police a man wearing a dark jacket and dark knit cap approached them and took their cash and other items at gunpoint.

Less than an hour later an ATM camera took a picture of someone trying to use the stolen card to get money at a Racetrac gas station on Sherwood Forest.  Kelly said they don't know if the man using the card is the person who robbed the couple.

Anyone with information about this crime or the person's identity is asked to call the BRPD Robbery Division at (225) 389-3845.
