LIVINGSTON - A pair of brothers are accused of using a boat to burglarize homes in the Springfield area.

Terry Pounder, 17, and Eric Brunet, 23, both of Springfield, were arrested Wednesday by LPSO detectives.

Detectives say the men used a boat at least twice to break into homes and steal firearms, liquor and flat screen TV's.

The two men also admitted to stealing guns, ammunition and even a watermelon from another home.

Two large flat screen TV's, numerous cases of beer and a cable TV box were stolen from the Lagniappe Restaurant located at 30161 Hwy 22 in Springfield.

Detectives were told the stolen items had all been sold, mostly in the Baton Rouge area.

All of the burglaries occurred over the last 30 days.

None of the stolen items have been recovered.

Brunet also faces a drug possession charge after two grams of cocaine allegedly fell out of his pocket while he was being booked.
