GONZALES - At St. Amant, Briggs Bourgeois is Mr. Do It All on the football team.

Between receiving and kicking, the junior has scored 166 points for the Gators this season, scorching the previous record of 112 points. He's kicked field goals from distances of 49 and 51 yards. He also leads the Gators with 16 touchdown catches, proving to be a dual scoring threat.

Bourgeois has a natural gift, which the St. Amant coaching staff recognized early on, even though he was only pegged as a "soccer player" trying out football.
