Bridge repairs going on after flooding
HOLDEN - Public works crews started repairs to bridges damaged by high water in Livingston Parish.
Crews went out this morning to the Frank Ballard Road Bridge, one of several in the Holden area which were damaged. Parish DPW crews said the bridge floated about four feet off its base.
Water levels in that area are much lower as compared to the past few days. Residents are still concerned about more rain, though, and are keeping their eye on local waterways and river levels.
News 2's Mike Steele will have more on repairs and other issues facing Livingston Parish after the flood tonight starting at 4 p.m.
