Bridge project has become a nightmare for workers, drivers
HOLDEN- Livingston road officials are not sure when a long-awaited road project will be finished.
Crews have been working on the bridge along James Chapel Road since September. It was supposed to be finished about a month after it was started in September, but the bridge is still not in use.
The parish Department of Public Works said Tuesday, the bridge is behind because of a concern with the backfill on the structure. Engineers are looking into the issue and are not sure when the project will be completed.
