Bridge closed in East Baton Rouge for emergency repairs
BATON ROUGE - Public works officials closed a bridge in the northern part of East Baton Rouge Parish for emergency repairs this afternoon.
DPW said the McCullough Road Bridge just west of Joor Road will be closed until further notice as they repair it.
They said drivers can use Blackwater Road to Greenwell Springs-Port Hudson Road to Joor Road as an alternate route.
Anyone with questions should contact the Department of Public Works Bridge Engineer at (225) 389-3186.
