BATON ROUGE - Firefighters are calling an early Friday morning house fire in the 1400 block of Eddie Robinson Sr. Drive a case of arson.

BRFD said they responded to the fire just after 3 a.m., and they had it under control but 3:42 a.m.

Investigators said the building had two previous fires on Jan. 5 and Jan. 7. Both of those blazes were intentionally set, according to BRFD.

The building is considered a total loss following Friday’s fire. Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact Baton Rouge Fire Investigators at (225) 354-1419.
