Brett Beard headed to Live Oak as new football head coach
BATON ROUGE - After two successful seasons at Woodlawn High, Brett Beard will take over Live Oak as the new head coach of the Eagles.
Beard guided the Panthers to back-to-back playoff appearances, and this past season led Woodlawn to a regular season win over Warren Easton, at the time the #1 team in the state in Class 4A.
Beard takes over an Eagles team that finished 4-6 in 2014.
