Breakfast with 2une In: Getting Active for Autism
BATON ROUGE - Chances are you know someone who's been impacted by autism. This morning on Breakfast with 2une In, News 2's Josh Eachus went Active for Autism with a special event at raising funds and awareness.
Families Helping Families of Greater Baton Rouge is behind the 6th Annual Active for Autism Certified 5K Run, Funwalk and Family FUNfest. They're closely connected with the Krewe of Orion, which is rolling in Baton Rouge this weekend.
Josh also joined Chef Kelly McCann from Galatoire's in the kitchen to make some fried oyster salad, Oysters Rockefeller and more.
FHFGBR's 6th annual Active for Autism is Saturday, April 18th from 8 a.m.-noon. Registration for the 5K begins at 7 am. They've once again partnered with many others throughout the community to make the event possible.
