BRCC losing president to Memphis college

BATON ROUGE - Baton Rouge Community College leaders will have to selected a new president since Andrea Lewis Miller is leaving the college.

Miller is taking the open president position at her Alma mater, LeMoyne-Owen College in Memphis. Miller's decision to leave Baton Rouge was confirmed by WBRZ News 2 Thursday evening.

it is not clear when Miller is leaving and the community college system said it will wait to learn more about her plans before deciding on how to pursue her successor.

Miller came to Baton Rouge in December 2011 from Sowela Technical Community College in Lake Charles.
