BRCC invites you to celebrate the arts in March
BATON ROUGE - Baton Rouge Community College is working on final preparations of their upcoming two-week celebration of the arts.
The 7th annual BRCC ArtsFest March 16th-20th and 23rd-29th. Dean of Liberal Arts Gail Suberbielle and Associate Professor/ArtsFest Co-chair Ben Lowenkron visited 2une In this morning to talk about how you can join the fun and how BRCC is helping students be successful.
"We offer programs that help students transfer to the 4-year universities and also so they can go straight into the workforce like entertainment technology and graphic arts," Suberbielle explains.
The ArtsFest is an opportunity for those students and others to showcase their work.
"It's no secret that the two best things about Baton Rouge are the festivals and the art," Lowenkron opines. "For two weeks we're bringing both to BRCC for students, faculty and the community as a whole."
All of the events are free and open to the public. For a full schedule, visit the BRCC website.
