Brave little girl remembered with Bella's Ball
BATON ROUGE - A brave little girl's memory will be carried on Thursday night at Bella's Ball.
7-year-old Bella Bowman was diagnosed with ependymoma brain tumor in January 2011. After a long and courageous battle, she passed away in December of that year.
The Bella Bowman foundation was founded in her memory and now strives to support research initiatives for pediatric brain cancer, fund continuous Education, and offer assistance with care. A good portion of the proceeds come Bella's Ball, which is celebrating its third year in 2014.
It is on Thursday, March 20th at L'auberge Casino Hotel in Baton Rouge. Cocktail hour starts at 6:00 p.m. with much more to follow. To find out more about the event, visit Bella Bowman's website and watch the video.
