BRAC hires Jindal aide
BATON ROUGE- The Baton Rouge Area Chamber has announced the hiring of a Jindal administration official.
Michael DiResto, spokesman for the Division of Administration, starts next month as BRAC's senior vice president for economic competitiveness.
BRAC's president and CEO Adam Knapp said DiResto "brings a wealth of public policy experience, passion and intellect to the role of leading BRAC's public policy group."
DiResto will direct the chamber's economic analysis efforts.
For the Jindal administration, he focused on legislative relations, communications and other tasks. He previously worked for the Louisiana Republican Party and then-U.S. Rep. Richard Baker, R-Baton Rouge.
