BR woman wins $1 million Powerball prize
BATON ROUGE – One Baton Rouge woman won the $1 million Powerball Prize from the Oct. 29 drawing.
38-year-old Tung Le matched five of six numbers to win $1,000,004 which she claimed Monday at Louisiana Lottery headquarters. Le received $700,002 after state and federal tax withholdings.
The winning ticket was sold at Hi Nabor Supermarket located on Jones Creek Road in Baton Rouge. The store received a one-time selling bonus of $ 10,000, one percent of the prize.
