A 14-year-old Baton Rouge student faces assault charges after a bus driver said he got on the wrong bus this afternoon and then threatened her.
Deputies with the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office were called by the bus driver around 3:15 p.m., and were told a male student who was not supposed to be on the bus had threatened her and was trying to exit out of the bus's back door. Deputies stopped the bus near the intersection of Florida and Sharp and arrested the student.
Casey Hicks with the sheriff's office said the student was a 7th-grader from Broadmoore Middle School, and was going to be charged with assault on a school teacher and remaining after being forbidden.
