BR street closed after gas leak
BATON ROUGE - Firefighters closed a Baton Rouge street after a natural gas leak was reported.
Curt Monte with the Baton Rouge Fire Department said the leak happened around 11 a.m. near Government Street.
Firefighters closed Government between Jefferson and Marion while utility crews dealt with the leak.
BRFD said there are no evacuations in the area. The road was reopened at 12:45 p.m.
