BATON ROUGE - Mayor-President Kip Holden tells News 2 there will be a national search for Baton Rouge Police Chief Jeff LeDuff's replacement.

He also says there will be local input during the process.

Earlier this week Holden released a letter that said LeDuff had told him he would be retiring as Chief of Police effective December 31.
