BR home sales down
BATON ROUGE - Baton Rouge area home sales dropped in March for the first time in 18 months of year to year increases.
The figures were released Monday by the Greater Baton Rouge Association of Realtors, showing a 14.6 percent drop from March 2013 to March 2014.
Sales in the nine parish area went from 758 to 647.
In East Baton Rouge Parish, the biggest market, sales dropped by 19.4 percent in March, falling from 417 to 336 over the year.
