BR General offers free vascular screenings
Baton Rouge General is offering free vascular screenings this Thursday, February 7, at its Bluebonnet location.
The hospital says the screenings are designed to identify those who are at risk for cardiovascular disease and/or those who may need follow-up care for medical conditions relating to the body's cardiovascular system.
The event will also offer blood pressure and BMI screenings.
To be eligible, participants must be:
-Age 50 & older
-Not have been screened in the past 1-2 years
-Have at least three of the following risk factors:
-History of smoking
-High blood pressure
-Family history of heart attack or stroke
