BATON ROUGE - The St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office accused a Baton Rouge attorney Friday of stealing several items from an elderly client of his.
Members of the U. S. Marshals Task Force arrested 63-year-old Stanley "Stephen" Spring at his law firm Friday.
Deputies said an investigation into possible financial abuse against an elderly St. Martin Parish man found Spring stole several things from the man.
Authorities booked Spring into the East Baton Rouge Parish jail where he's being held without bond while awaiting extradition to St. Martin Parish.
