BP shares on the New York Stock Exchange are climbing for the second day in a row despite new oil flow estimates that show the spill could be double what federal scientists previously estimated.
Friday morning, BP's shares rose $1.35 to $34.13. The price began climbing Thursday after the oil corporation said it could deal with the cost of the spill.
BP says it has already spent more than one billion dollars on the oil spill cleanup.
