PRAIRIEVILLE - Sheriff's deputies said a trailer full of Boy Scout camping gear was stolen from a Prairieville church this week.

Lt. Col. Bobby Webre with the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office said on Wednesday deputies were sent to the New Song Methodist Church after they were told a box trailer had been stolen.

Webre said the trailer belonged to Boy Scout Troop 67, and contained camping gear used by the Scouts for outings.

Anyone with information about the missing trailer or camping gear should call the APSO at (225) 621-INFO (4636) or by texting 847411 to their anonymous tip line.
