Boxes of coffee, not bombs force scare at LSU
BATON ROUGE- Containers of coffee were exploded by the bomb squad after they were deemed suspicious and shutdown a section of the LSU campus Monday.
The boxes were found outside Thomas Boyd Hall near the Memorial Tower just before 4 p.m. Not long after, the building was evacuated and people were told to avoid the area.
The ordeal lasted for about three hours before investigators gave the "all clear."
