BATON ROUGE - The 2012 United States Bowling Congress Open Championships will begin its 151-day run Saturday at the newly-constructed 48-lane bowling facility inside the Baton Rouge River Center where the first of more than 60,000 bowlers will take to the lanes.
The tourney will begin at 12:30 p.m.
Today News 2's Sarah Rosario is taking a look at how those thousands of bowlers will benefit the economy in the surrounding area.
