Bossier City bookkeeper arrested for theft
SHREVEPORT - A Bossier City bookkeeper has been arrested for stealing $100,000 from her employer.
Caddo Parish Sheriff Steve Prator tells The Times that 48-year-old Theresa Robinson was arrested Thursday for theft after her employer, Bailey Bark Materials, conducted an audit of company funds that allegedly linked Robinson to the theft.
Deputies say the theft of funds occurred between February 2011 and September.
Prator says Robinson is accused of taking cash out of the company deposits and adjusting records to cover the loss.
She was booked into Caddo Correctional Center. Her bond was set at $100,287.
It was not immediately known whether she has an attorney.
