Bossier-born filmmakers on hometown location
Independent filmmakers Blayne Weaver and Brandon Barrera have returned to Bossier City to make their fourth movie.
They say Louisiana's film incentives played a big part in their decision, but being hometown boys is a big help, too.
Weaver says they've gotten amazing deals because they're from Bossier City.
Barrera says that includes being able to get places to film without paying thousands of dollars.
The movie they're working on is called "6 Month Rule."
Weaver stars as a bachelor who wants to avoid emotional attachment, and believes that six months is the amount of time to get over any woman.
Barrera plays a bartender.
Their movie "Weather Girl" appeared in theatres in 10 cities, was shown on Lifetime Television, and is on DVD.
