"Bonnie & Clyde" filming affects downtown traffic
BATON ROUGE - A shoot for the miniseries "Bonnie & Clyde" will affect traffic in downtown Baton Rouge and include simulated gunfire, according to the mayor's office.
Because the shoot is a period piece, traffic and parking are restricted in the following areas:
100 - 300 blocks of N. Third Street
200 - 300 blocks of Laurel Street
300 block of Florida Street
200 - 300 blocks of Convention Street
Filming will happen around Third Street at the intersection of Laurel and Convention between noon and midnight.
It's the second set of road closures this month for a film shoot downtown. The movie "Search Party" led to several road closures around downtown and Spanish Town, with another closure scheduled for Tuesday on North Boulevard between Lafayette and River Road.
