Bond set for coach accused of sexual assaulting student
NEW ROADS - Bond was set at $75,000 for the volleyball coach and biology teacher at Pointe Coupee Parish high school accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student.
Nick Domingue, 27, was booked into the Pointe Coupee Parish prison and has not bonded out yet. His lawyer says Domingue denies the allegations.
The principal says Domingue was fired shortly after the allegations were made on Oct. 3.
Dominuge is charged with one count of indecent behavior with a juvenile and oral sexual battery.
