The Baton Rouge Metro Council will decide today whether to postpone a vote on Mayor Kip Holden's bond proposal.
The $900 million package is scheduled to be on the November 14th ballot in East Baton Rouge Parish.
It includes plans for infrastructure improvements, a parish prison and commercial development along the riverfront, and would be paid for with a new property and sales tax.
The Metro Council meeting is open to the public and starts at 2 p.m. in the Metro Council chambers downtown.
