An out of work software consultant pleaded not guilty to running a bomb factory at his house near San Diego where prosecutors say they found the largest stash of homemade explosives in U.S. history. George Djura Jakubec is also charged with robbing two banks. Prosecutors say its unclear what Jakubec was going to do with the explosives. The stash was found last week when a gardner was injured in a blast when he stepped on explosive powder at the house. The explosive compounds authorities found have been used by suicide bombers and insurgients in Iraq and Afghanistan. They also found 13 uncompleted shrapnel-wrapped grenades.
