Boil water advisory for parts of Iberville lifted
IBERVILLE- The boil water advisory in Iberville Parish has been lifted as of Thursday, parish officials announced.
The water testing indicated no contamination and the water is safe for consumption.
The parish origianlly issued a boil water advisory on Tuesday afternoon for residents and businesses on Belleview Road from Walmart to Jack Miller’s Landing north to Bayou Jacob and all intersecting streets and subdivisions including Intracoastal Rd. and Hwy. 77 to Bayou Ricard.
The boil advisory will be lifted upon notification from the Louisiana Department of Health & Hospitals that test samples indicate the water supply is safe.
