WBRZ - Baton Rouge

A boil order is immediately in effect until further notice for Modeste, McCall and Smoke Bend in the west bank of Ascension Parish because of water pressure problems.

According to parish spokesperson Scott Rabalais, water pressure is also low in Darrow on the east bank, but was improving as of Sunday evening. Residents there are asked to conserve water as much as possible.
