Body of Houma man recovered Intracoastal Waterway
MORGAN CITY - The body of a Houma man has been recovered from the Intracoastal Waterway in St. Mary Parish.
Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries spokesman Adam Einck says agents found the body of 38-year-old Wallace Bailey Jr. around 6:30 a.m. Monday.
Einck says Bailey and his father, 64-year-old Wallace Bailey Sr., were ejected from their small aluminum skiff Sunday morning.
Einck says witnesses were able to pull Bailey Sr. from the water and Bailey Jr. sank below the water and didn't resurface.
