Body from burned cabin ID'ed as killer ex-cop
BIG BEAR LAKE, Calif. - San Bernardino County officials confirmed the remains found in a burned out cabin is that of former Los Angeles Police officer turned alleged cop-killer Christopher Dorner.
A sheriff's office spokeswoman said dental records helped confirm Dorner's remains.
Dorner was wanted for the deaths of four people, two of which were law enforcement officers.
Three other people were hurt during the rampage after Dorner vowed revenge against the LAPD after he was fired from it.
Dorner died Tuesday during a standoff and fire at a cabin in the mountains roughly 80 miles east of Los Angeles.
