Body found in Red River identified
BENTON - A body found in the Red River has been identified as a man who's been missing more than a week.
22 year-old Glen Bowens was reported missing on March 24. The body was found Tuesday night about a mile south of Red River South Marina on U.S. Highway 71.
Lt. Bill Davis with the Bossier Parish sheriff's department says the exact cause of death has not yet been determined, but investigators say they did not find any sign of foul play.
Davis says Bowens had moved to Shreveport from California. He says friends said they last saw Bowens near the riverfront in downtown Shreveport the evening of March 23.
