Body found in Livingston Parish
LIVINGSTON - Sheriff's deputies said they've investigating how a man wound up dead on some property in Livingston Parish.
Sheriff Jason Ard said the man's body was found Sunday in an area off La. Highway 63 south of Livingston. Ard said the body was found by a hunter who was clearing part of the property.
Investigators said they don't know how long the body has been there and that weather has hindered their ability to identify the remains.
The sheriff said they do not suspect foul play, but a coroner will examine the body to determine cause of death and hopefully identify the remains.
