PORT ALLEN - Boats from the West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office searched the Mississippi River today for a man who reportedly jumped off the I-10 bridge.
Authorities said the man jumped around 11:30 a.m. after parking his vehicle on the bridge.
The incident closed one lane of traffic on I-10 East across the bridge while police removed the car.
Boats were deployed to search the river south of the bridge for the man.
