Board pushes forward lower GPA for after-school activities
BATON ROUGE - The school board seems to be on board with the new superintendent's plan to lower the GPA requirement for extracurricular activities for students in East Baton Rouge Parish public schools.
A board committee - that's also made up of the entire school board - approved the measure Thursday night. It returns to the same members when they meet for a later school board meeting. The move Thursday was procedural.
